Flame
I just love how the flame is reflected in the window. This photo was taken in a restaurant in Vasastaden.

Eriksberg
Over the past ten years, housing have sprung up from the ground in these areas. What once was the shipyard workers' quarters, is now a sought after residential area. Amidst all these modern constructions stands this beautifully illuminated gantry crane and witnesses of the area's history.

Another picture from Kviberg
I am suprised to notice that people nowadays not only put candles and flowers next to the graves but also ornaments, like this heart-shaped stone where it says "Kram" in English meaning "Hug".

Westminster Bridge and HDR
I just made an attempt to create an HDR-image. Well, it might not be my best picture but it is at least a first try.

A butterfly
Recently, I learned how to adjust the white balance on the camera and I have had lots of fun taking pictures of my butterflies. This is a butterfly-necklace.

Charles Felix Lindberg
Charles Felix Lindberg was a very successful merchant who run a huge shipping company in Gothenburg in the end of the 1900th centuary. When he died he left a considerable amount of money which he gave to the city of Gothenburg. In accordance with his last wishes, the money have been used to maintain and build parks and avenues but also to finance statues, like for instance the monument of Poseidon on Götaplatsen. This is a statue of Lindberg, as he walks through a park named after himself. If he could see the cherry-blossom I bet the look of his face would have been different.

Cherry-blossom
I found this lovely cherry-blossom in Charles Felix Lindberg's park which is situated along Kungsports Avenyn, the main street in Gothenburg. Is it not adorable?
